INTERIOR ALASKA CONSERVATIVE COALITION (IACC)

 

Mission Statement:

IACC is Interior Alaska’s conservative hub. We educate, coordinate, and mobilize citizens to preserve the principles of liberty at local, state, and federal levels.

Vision Statement:

Our vision is to restore local, state and federal governments to their legitimate purpose which is clearly defined by the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the united States of America.

Values Statement:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator by certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and pursuit of Happiness.  -That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, -That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of those ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such a form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

 

VALUES

 

State Sovereignty   We defend each state’s ability to self-govern without federal interference as per the tenth amendment.

Jury Rights   We support the jury’s right and responsibility to judge the law, as well as the facts of a case.

Monetary Policy   We expect Congress to fulfill its Constitutional mandate “to ‘coin’ money and regulate the value thereof.”  We oppose fiat currencies and central banking.

Gun Rights   We oppose any law that restricts the right of the people to keep and bear arms.    

Property Rights   We oppose any law that restricts private property rights.

Free Market   We support a free market system of economics.

Judeo-Christian Principles We, in agreement with the founding fathers of this country, appeal to God as the highest authority and source of objective moral law.

Right to Life   We defend the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death.

Marriage and Family   We consider the family to be the social foundation of a free society.  We support the traditional definition of marriage.

Parental Rights   We believe that parents have the right and the responsibility to raise their children free from government interference.

Personal Responsibility   We believe that the individual is responsible for maintainin his own life, liberty and property as well as holding government to its legitimate purpose.
